The registration fees for a single-family rental is $175 and it’s good for 5 years ($35/year). The inspections are performed via a network of city-approved private inspectors with fees estimated at $100-200 every 10 years ($10-$20/year) to certify the city checklist. Some are calling this a new $50 a year landlord tax.
