We started with a realtor whose list of suggestions was quite contrary to our interests and never provided suggestions nor specific answers to our emailed questions. Given that we were looking for a house in Seattle while still living in Colorado, we really needed someone to provide specific advice on neighborhoods and trends, and to make our 3-day house hunting trip as efficient as possible. Rob was subsequently recommended to us by a friend who described him as data-oriented, which matches our experience. (We especially valued this given the strange climate right now for buying a house -- low inventory and high mortgage rates). We provided Rob with a number of rather restrictive requirements for a home and he asked us to provide a list of places we thought we'd like, independent of their current status, to gauge our taste and compile recommendations. When viewing places, Rob was incredibly knowledgeable about the tiniest of details regarding the building materials used in the home, possible (as well as unlikely) problems, upgrade costs, and nice features. After viewing each place, he wanted to hear details regarding what we liked and disliked to tune his recommendations. To our surprise, we found a home after only a day of visiting several places. During the closing process, Rob's team communicated quickly and efficiently with us, and Rob checked in with a summary once a week. Everything went surprisingly smoothly, especially in light of my constant travel, conducting the entire process while bouncing from conference-to-conference. I highly recommend Rob and his team!
